Qualified General Members will:
Posses a U.S. degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or a recognized International equivalent to a U.S. MD or DO degree;
Be accepted by the Board of Trustees after a favorable evaluation of the candidate’s ethics, professional status, and professional activities at the time of the application for membership.
Rights and Privileges:
Attendance to all meetings of the USMA;
Eligible to seek election to serve as a voting member of the House of Delegates (HOD);
Eligible to vote for the election of Delegates to the HOD;
Exclusive CME products;
Exclusive CME business support products;
Participation in shaping USMA positions on public policy, medical education, maintenance of certification, and scope of practice.
